This breath practice is targeted towards stress reduction, insomnia, and over training.
We will use the inhale to build some energy and then begin to hummm out the exhale. The humming causes vibration through the vagus nerve and helps to calm both brain and body. Don't feel silly doing this. We will slowly build into it.

Gettin' The Crazy Out
I use this kind of breath practice for fighters on fight days. First it builds the energy. Then through quick breathing, often called breath of fire in yoga, it flushes the excess energy out and results in the body being energized but the mind being calmed.
